Terms and Conditions

Sober Curious Reset | Last Updated: July, 2026

By purchasing or participating in any Sober Curious Reset offering — including the Sober Curious Reset program and The Coming Home Retreat (together, "the Programs") — you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Please read them carefully before joining.

These General Terms apply to all Sober Curious Reset offerings. Additional terms specific to each Program are set out in Part B and Part C below.

PART A - GENERAL TERMS

1. Nature of the Programs

Sober Curious Reset offerings are peer-led wellness and personal development programs created and facilitated by Susannah Myerson. They are designed to support women exploring their relationship with alcohol through guided conversation, reflection, education and community support.

The Programs are not therapy, counselling, rehabilitation, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional mental health or medical care.

2. Eligibility

The Programs are intended for adults aged 18 years and over.

By participating, you confirm that:

- you are voluntarily choosing to participate

- you understand the nature of the Program you have joined

- you are responsible for your own physical, emotional and mental wellbeing

- you are not currently experiencing severe alcohol dependency requiring medical supervision or detoxification

If you are unsure whether a Program is appropriate for you, please seek guidance from a qualified healthcare professional before participating.

3. Not Medical or Clinical Advice

Susannah Myerson is not acting as a doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, therapist or addiction specialist within any Program. Information shared is educational and reflective in nature only and should not be considered medical or clinical advice. Participation does not create a therapeutic or clinical practitioner-client relationship.

4. Personal Responsibility

By participating, you accept full responsibility for your own decisions, actions, wellbeing and outcomes. You understand that:

- results and experiences will vary between participants

- the Programs do not guarantee specific outcomes

- participation may bring up emotional discomfort, reflection or personal insight

*You agree to seek professional support if needed.

5. Confidentiality & Group Safety

Sober Curious Reset is built on honesty, trust and emotional safety. Participants agree to:

- respect the privacy of all members

- keep personal stories and discussions confidential

- not share screenshots, recordings or participant information outside the Program

While every effort is made to create a safe environment, confidentiality cannot be absolutely guaranteed in group settings.

6. Community Conduct

Participants are expected to engage respectfully and compassionately at all times. Bullying, harassment, discrimination, aggressive behaviour or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated and may result in removal from a Program without refund.

7. Referral & Right to Decline

If, in Susannah's reasonable judgement, matters arise during the program that fall outside the scope of peer coaching — including but not limited to a mental health crisis, suicidal ideation, complex trauma, or signs of alcohol dependence requiring medical care — Susannah may pause or decline to continue addressing that issue, and may refer you to an appropriate qualified professional such as a GP, psychologist, counsellor, or emergency service. Susannah may also pause, suspend, or end your participation in the program at her discretion where she believes continuing is not appropriate or safe.

8. Harm Disclosure

If you disclose an intention to harm yourself or another person, or that a child is at risk of harm, Susannah reserves the right to contact emergency services, your emergency contact, or another appropriate authority, notwithstanding the confidentiality terms above.

9. Fees & Refund Policy

Program fees are payable in full prior to commencement unless otherwise agreed in writing. If Susannah pauses, suspends, or ends your participation under Section 7 (Referral & Right to Decline), you will be refunded on a pro-rata basis for any remaining sessions not yet delivered. Outside of that circumstance, fees paid are non-refundable once the program has commenced. Nothing in this policy excludes any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Susannah Myerson and Sober Curious Reset are not liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, injury or damages arising from participation in a Program. Participation is voluntary and undertaken at your own discretion. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

11. Changes To A Program

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to Program content, session dates, facilitators, venue or delivery format where

necessary. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.

12. Contact

For questions regarding these Terms & Conditions, please contact: Susannah Myerson — [email protected]

PART B Additional Terms: SOBER CURIOUS RESET (4-Week Program)

B1. Fees & Refund Policy

Program fees are payable in full prior to commencement unless a payment plan has been agreed at checkout.

If Susannah pauses, suspends, or ends your participation under Section 7 (Referral & Right to Decline), you will be refunded on a pro-rata basis for any remaining sessions not yet delivered.

Outside of that circumstance, fees paid are non-refundable once the Program has commenced, regardless of attendance or completion. Payment plans must be completed in full regardless of participation level.

Nothing in this policy excludes any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

B2. Technology & Access

Participants are responsible for ensuring they have access to Zoom, a stable internet connection, and their email for onboarding materials, and for attending live sessions where possible. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by internet outages, third-party platforms, or technical issues outside our control.

PART C Additional Terms: THE COMING HOME RETREAT

C1. Deposit, Payment & Refund Policy

One month upfront payment is required to secure your place, with the remaining balance payable via your chosen payment plan (weekly, fortnightly or monthly) or in full at checkout. All balances must be paid in full by 1 October 2026.

All retreat payments — including deposits and instalments — are non-refundable, regardless of cancellation, change of mind, or non-attendance, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

If Susannah cancels or postpones the retreat (see C6, Cancellation & Force Majeure), the refund terms in that clause will apply instead.

C2. Physical Participation & Assumption of Risk

The retreat includes physical and experiential activities, which may include yoga, breathwork, walking, movement, kundalini activation and energy work. By participating, you confirm that:

- you are physically and mentally fit to take part

- you will inform facilitators of any injury, condition, or limitation prior to a session

- you participate in all activities at your own discretion and own risk

If you have any medical condition, injury, or concern that may affect your ability to safely participate, please contact us before booking, or check with your GP.

C3. Independent Facilitators & 1:1 Sessions

Guest facilitators (including but not limited to David Flaklar, Lynsey Page, Kathleen O'Keeffe and Cassey Maynard) are independent practitioners engaged to deliver specific sessions at the retreat. They are not employees of Sober Curious Reset, and their services are governed by their own professional practices, qualifications and terms.

Any optional 1:1 sessions booked and paid for directly with a facilitator during free time are a private arrangement between you and that practitioner. Sober Curious Reset is not responsible for the advice, treatment or outcomes of these independent sessions.

C4. Accommodation & Room Arrangements

Room type (Solo or Twin) is confirmed at the time of booking and is subject to availability. For Twin Room bookings:

- you will be paired with another retreat participant

- we will do our best to accommodate any preferences, but pairing cannot be guaranteed

- dissatisfaction with a roommate pairing does not entitle you to a refund or room change once the retreat has commenced

Room upgrades (where available) may be arranged prior to the retreat, subject to availability and any price difference.

C5. Alcohol-Free Environment

The Coming Home Retreat is intentionally alcohol-free. This is not a house rule but a condition of the retreat design, intended to support presence, safety and connection for all participants. Alcohol is not permitted on the retreat premises for the duration of the retreat.

C6. Cancellation, Postponement & Force Majeure

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone or alter the retreat due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to venue unavailability, extreme weather, illness of a key facilitator, or insufficient numbers.

If we cancel the retreat entirely, you will be offered a transfer to a future retreat date or a refund of amounts paid, at our discretion. We are not responsible for any additional costs you incur (such as travel or accommodation booked separately) as a result of a cancellation or postponement.

C7. Travel, Transfers & Insurance

Travel to and from the venue, and any transfers, are not included in the retreat price and are your responsibility to arrange. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover cancellation, illness, injury or travel disruption.

C8. Dietary & Accessibility Requirements

Please advise us of any dietary requirements or accessibility needs at the time of booking, or as soon as possible afterward, so we can make reasonable arrangements with the venue and catering team. While we will do our best to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee every requirement can be fully met.

C9. Photography & Video

Photos and/or video may be taken during the retreat for use in Sober Curious Reset marketing, social media and website content. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please let us know on arrival so we can make reasonable accommodations. By attending, you consent to incidental appearance in group imagery unless you have opted out in writing.

C10. Health, Wellbeing & Emergency Contact

You are required to provide an emergency contact as part of your booking. In the event of a medical or psychological emergency during the retreat, we reserve the right to contact your emergency contact and/or emergency services, and to arrange transport to appropriate medical care at your expense.
